Hello everyone! It's Yoshi from N-TECH.
Last time, I shared how we handle emblems when we need to remove them for PPF installation. This time, let’s talk about what we do when removing the emblems just isn’t an option or when customers prefer to keep them in place.
We recommend leaving emblems untouched in certain cases:
When you plan to trade in or privately sell the car within 12-36 months and may want to remove the PPF yourself.
When the emblem is a painted, body-colored design (such as on a Porsche) that can take 2-4 weeks to order if removed.
For limited-edition models or cars mainly kept in the garage and driven minimally, like for cars and coffee events with less than 1,000 miles before resale.
In these cases, simply applying a film manufacturer’s template wouldn’t achieve the clean, custom look we’re after.
Here at N-TECH, we have in-house experts skilled in 3D CAD and Adobe Illustrator, allowing us to create custom data for PPF, laser-cut double-sided tape for emblems, and even TPU-printed protective parts for use during PPF installation. This flexibility helps us achieve an installation that blends perfectly with your car’s design.
As they say, “seeing is believing,” so I’ll show you the difference between a standard template and our custom approach. Here’s an example on a white Porsche 911 Turbo with a factory-ordered, body-colored emblem. To make it easier to see, we used black PPF for the test piece.
Stay tuned to see how N-TECH’s commitment to every detail sets us apart!
